Bow Common Lane: too fast, too dangerous
Since 2018, Tower Hamlets Council has been informed of residents' concerns about the safety of this road as the number of crashes in the same spot increased.
Tower Hamlets Council have done nothing to address the problem.

This traffic calming measure is ineffective as vehicles simply speed through it. When the drivers lose control, they mount the pavement.

I have serious concerns about the Road Safety of Bow Common. There has been 5 recent car crashes at the site of the chicane. In August'22 a speeding car on this road crashed into the main entrance of a residential building. The potential loss of life from speeding vehicles is very real.
Please can you implement speed humps or other effective traffic calming measures as soon as possible.
